Up & Coming May Part 3: China Glaze Crackle

Are you a fan of the shatter craze? We hope so, because our third and Final new release for May is China Glaze Crackle. Crackle is just like OPI's Shatter, but by China Glaze, another popular Nail company.


Colors that will be available include:
Lightening Bolt - White
Crackled Concrete - Grey
Black Mesh - Black
Crushed Candy - Blue/Green
Broken Heart - Pink
Fault Line - Purple

They were originally released at limited supply stores (Sally's Beauty, ect.) but they sold so quickly, they are now going to be available more widespread. Including Harris Russo Spa!

Our personal favorite here at the Spa is Fault Line. It's a gorgeous iridescent like purple and seems to look wonderful with any color it is paired with. Remember, you can pair these Crackles with any other nail polish underneath, any brand.

With the addition of so many colors, there has been some playing around with using different colored shatter on the same hand. For example, using both the above examples of Black Mesh and Lightening Bolt. It adds an additional interesting affect to your nails.

Up & Coming May Part 2: Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is being released on May 20. What better way to celebrate then a new OPI line? Pick your favorite and wear it to the movie premiere!

This limited edition collection is showing us more of this Spring's hottest trend: softer colors. And wait...is that what we think it is on the end?!

You bet, another new OPI Shatter, and this one looks fabulous. OPI is releasing a new SILVER shatter. Same idea as the black shatter we know and love, but with a new twist. Layer it over any of the Pirates line, or on top of any of your favorite nail polishes!

Gelish!

We are proud to add a highly anticipated new service to our selection. Starting Friday, April 22nd, we will be offering Gelish Manicures!

Hand & Nail Harmony Gelish is a soak off gel that works like a polish, only better! It is hardened under a UV light like a gel and lasts for 3+ weeks with no chipping or peeling. Gelish is not detrimental to your natural nails because it doesn't require any buffing of the natural nail. Gelish soaks off 3 times faster then other gel polishes with acetone.

How does Gelish compare to others?
According to a spa in LA, "It is thinner and stronger, longer lasting, chips less, and is easier to remove, with less damage to your nails the OPI Axxium."

Shellac seems to be a popular one around here, but Shellac only promises a 2 week manicure, while Gelish promises a 3 week! Gelish has also shown less chips and wear and comes in many more colors then Shellac.

Are you convinced yet? On top of it all, the manicure is instantly set and dry. No more worrying about smudging your nails after they're done.
